5. Contest Rules and Gameplay

5.1 Lineup Building

You must build lineups according to contest-specific rules, including position requirements and budget constraints. Lineups lock at the scheduled contest start time and cannot be modified after that time.

5.2 Scoring

Points are awarded based on real NHL player performance according to our published scoring system. We rely on official NHL statistics, and all scoring decisions are final once contests conclude.

5.3 Contest Types

We offer various contest formats including head-to-head matchups, tournaments, and leagues. Each contest type has specific rules, entry requirements, and structures.

5.4 Late Swap

For certain contest types, you may modify your lineup after the contest starts, swapping players whose games have not yet begun. Late swap rules vary by contest.

6. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools
• Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
• Collude with other users or share lineup information
• Engage in any form of cheating or manipulation
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Share or sell your account
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities
• Use VPNs or location-masking tools to circumvent restrictions
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Hockey Fantasy Space, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Contests and Rankings

Contest results are determined based on player performance in actual NHL games. We use official NHL statistics as our data source. In the event of statistical corrections by the NHL, we reserve the right to adjust contest results accordingly.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Underage use
• Failure to verify identity when requested
• Abuse of the platform or other users
• Any conduct we deem harmful to the platform or community

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

While we use official NHL statistics, we are not responsible for errors or delays in statistical reporting by third-party data providers.
